At the microphone of Bruno Faure and Julien Clémençot, he details his strategy in a context of growing competition, in the sectors of telephony and internet access (MTN, Airtel), and mobile money (Wave).

He is also questioned about relations with the Chinese equipment manufacturer Huawei, the political instability in certain African countries which complicates the conduct of Orange's business and the changes at the head of the company based in France.

► Our reports:

Competition on the African continent is increasingly strong in this telecom sector.

Illustration in Guinea.

Orange flies over the market there, but because of this "dominant" position, is sometimes the target of criticism.

The competition is starting to show the tip of its nose.

GUINEA TELECOM COMPETITION REPORT

Among the demands of African consumers in terms of mobile money, money transfers, there is what is called interoperability.

To be able to send money to someone who does not use the same operator.

Despite efforts, for example in Côte d'Ivoire, not everything is resolved.

Report by our correspondent in Abidjan François Hume Ferkatadji.

REPORT CÔTE D'IVOIRE INTEROPERABILITY

Among the very strong expectations with regard to Orange, there is network coverage, including in rural areas, far from cities.

In the DRC, large areas of the territory are not covered.

Report by Denise Maheho, our correspondent in Lubumbashi.
