After more than two years of waiting, two agents from the anti-crime brigade appear this Friday at the Lyon Criminal Court, reports
Lyon Mag
.
They are accused of violently hitting a young man during a demonstration in which he did not participate, on December 10, 2019 on Place Bellecour.
Aged 23, Arthur Naciri had just arrived in Lyon to visit friends, when he got involved out of curiosity in a demonstration against the pension reform.
For some unknown reason, the police then grabbed him and beat him.
Photos show the bloody mouth of the young man, who has since undergone several operations, at a cost of 25,000 euros of which only 30% have been taken care of, adds
Lyon Mag
.
The two offending police officers did not appear at the first hearing in December 2020.
