Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on April 1 that 331 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections to 73,612.
On the other hand, no deaths have been announced, and 347 people have died so far.
The number of seriously ill people has decreased by one from March 31 to nine.
