Kuwait Fire Service explains how the Mubarakiya market fire broke out

The Kuwait Fire Brigade revealed today, in a statement, the causes of the fire that broke out in the Mubarakiya market, which caused the destruction of a number of shops in the arms market.

The fire department explained that the fire started in one of the perfume shops in the gun market, as workers were working on dismantling and installing iron bases at the top of the main entrance to the shop using iron cutting equipment.

The firefighting explained that the cause of the fire was caused by the flying of hot iron blocks during the process of cutting the iron and falling on flammable materials such as perfume and alcohol, which led to the ignition of the fire in the same shop and its spread to the neighboring and opposite shops through the wood located at the top of the umbrellas outside the shop. Perfumes and alcohol stored in large quantities in those stores spread the fire.
