The echo of Will Smith's slap echoes... The organizers: We kicked him out of the concert and he didn't come out!

Chris Rock: I'm trying to understand it!

Will Smith's slap, which surprised the Oscars, on Sunday evening, still occupies the whole world, when the Hollywood star Will Smith rose from his place in a state of great resentment, and slapped the humorist and Oscar presenter Chris Rock after the latter made a joke about the shaved head of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, She suffers from a condition that leads to hair loss, which sparked a global outcry.

While Chris Rock, 57, has not publicly commented on Will Smith's behavior, he broke his silence on Wednesday during a comedy show in Boston.

He said without going into length on the subject that he is still trying to understand the matter, and will talk about it at a later time, according to the "New York Post".

It is noteworthy that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that movie star Will Smith refused a request to leave the Oscars after he slapped the host of the ceremony, comedian Chris Rock.

"We would like to clarify that Mr. Smith was asked to leave the party but he refused, and we also acknowledge that we could have handled the situation differently," the Academy, which awards the Oscars, said Wednesday.

She also made it clear that she had begun a process that could lead to Smith being penalized for violating her standards of conduct.

Sanctions such as suspension or expulsion may be approved at the next Academy Board meeting on April 18.

In return, Smith apologized to The Rock, the academy and viewers in a statement Monday, saying he had "overstepped his bounds."

Under academy rules, Smith has an opportunity to provide a written response before it takes any action. Smith's representatives did not respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.
