The Beckhams' London home was burglarized

David and Victoria Beckham (https://www.20minutes.fr/people/victoria_beckham/ ) are 'shaken' to find they were burglarized while at home with their 10-year-old daughter years, Harper.

It is indeed their 17-year-old son, Cruz, who, on returning home, saw a broken window and alerted them.

The father and son then walked around their home to check that no intruders were still present and called the police.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the intrusion took place on the night of February 28 to March 1, the alert having been given shortly after half past midnight.

The tabloid

, which first relayed the information, reveals that the thief left with loot worth several thousand pounds in designer items and household appliances.

The Beckhams' home in London is located near Holland Park, an area renowned for its millionaire residents, including Elton John and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate Middleton.

The stylist and former footballer's £40million property was not the only target that night.

Two other posh homes were also the target of an attempted burglary the same night.
