Students from Saint-Soupplets (Seine-et-Marne) are mobilizing for the clouds.

This Tuesday, they challenged the Secretary General of the UN, by mail, to ask him to establish international regulations on the clouds, reports

La Marne

.

In addition to this request, the 600 students from the Nicolas Tronchon college and the Henri Caroly school, gathered on the lawn of the municipal stadium to observe the clouds.

This day represented the culmination of a project of several months carried out with a lawyer, Me Mathieu Simonet.

Saint-Soupplets, international cloud observatory

Today, there are no regulations governing the clouds, which belong to no one.

But countries use them to trigger artificial rains, via the injection of chemicals.

Practices that raise questions about climate change and the effect of these products on soils and people.

This year, the town has declared itself an international cloud observatory.

The students would also like March 29 to become International Cloud Day.
