What did ancient Hotan women use for grooming and makeup?

Recently, at the Xinjiang Hotan Regional Museum, the reporter saw a group of cultural relics, displaying various cosmetic tools and accessories, which was eye-opening.

In terms of toiletry utensils, there are exquisite bronze mirrors, brass mirrors, various wooden combs and "cosmetic boxes" containing these tools.

As for cosmetics, there are brass eyebrow pencil ink cartridges, eyebrow pencils and eyebrow stones on display.

From the Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age or even later, the ancient people in Xinjiang have widely used eyebrow pencils and other eyebrow tools.

In addition, some gold ornaments from the Warring States Period to the Western Han Dynasty are also eye-catching.

Most of these gold ornaments are made of gold foil, and their shapes and decorations incorporate elements such as clouds and mythical animals, and some are also embellished with gems, jade and other materials, which are very delicate.
