Two Chinese students were arrested for fraudulently purchasing a smartphone sold by Rakuten Mobile on the Internet by impersonating another person and receiving it at their home in Tokyo.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, from April to May last year, 10 smartphones sold by Rakuten Mobile were illegally purchased online using information from a credit card in the name of another person, and there was a suspicion of theft as they were received at home. I am.



The two are believed to be the recipients of the goods, and there is a suspicion that they were transferred to another person for a reward of about 2000 yen per vehicle.



In response to the investigation, they all admitted the charges, saying, "I lost the temptation to get money easily."



Regarding smartphones sold by Rakuten Mobile, the damage caused by illegal purchases by the same method was one after another from April to May last year, and the total damage amount is estimated to be about 190 million yen.
