He kills his wife, two children and his mother-in-law so as not to leave a single witness to the crime

48 hours after the murder of a woman, her two children aged 15 and 17 and her mother in Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat, police said they had solved the case, as police arrested the woman's husband, Vinod, and charged him with the crime.

The police said that the bodies were found in different rooms of the house, where the children were found together in one room, while the wife Sonal and her mother were found in another room.

All bodies were taken to the local hospital for an autopsy.

Police officials said the bodies were repeatedly stabbed with a sharp object.

According to Ahmedabad Police, the accused Vinod went to Surat city after committing the crime, from Surat, he left for Indore city, where he was planning to leave Indore as well but was arrested by Indore Police branch for the crime, and now he has been transferred to Ahmedabad.

The accused constantly changed his statements, and gave no motive for the murder, however, the police said that Vinod told them he didn't want to leave any witnesses, so he killed everyone in the family.

However, it is not yet known who was killed first.
