In connection with Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the fundraising concert All of Sweden Rattles is being arranged for the second time.

The evening's hosts the host Fredrik Skavlan and the comedian and screenwriter Emma Molin.

- I feel an incredible commitment and that people almost feel a sense of relief to be involved and contribute something.

I myself felt a huge frustration when this war broke out and asked myself how it could happen and what I could do, says Emma Molin.

The gala was first held in 2015 in connection with the refugee wave as a result of the Syrian civil war.

The Globe then included Alcazar, Bo Kasper's Orchestra, Carola and Gina Dirawi.

During the gala evening, more than SEK 40 million was collected.

- I hope that people will be affected by this evening, which is completely unique, and that it will have the same impact as it had last time.

In 2015, the gala put words and pictures on what the Swedish people felt and I hope that we succeed with it this time as well, says Emma Molin.

Pursued the gala with Grotesco

This is not the first time that Emma Molin has been associated with the fundraising gala.

In 2017, the humor collective Grotesco, of which Molin was a part, aimed at Sweden's handling of the refugee crisis in 2015 and the turnaround in refugee policy.

With the musical The Refugee Crisis, Grotesco set the tone for the period June-November 2015. Among the more than half a dozen songs, All of Sweden is rattling a boot that was about donating money for its own conscience and then quickly moving on with life.

- Think how it can be!

No, but I'm super honored to do this and it was just as much a tribute in that Grotesco episode.

Then I can say that that song has been played in my head during this time, "the whole of Sweden rattles, come and donate a penny", says Emma Molin.

The gala's ticket proceeds go in full to the International Committee of the Red Cross, Proliska, UN Women, Fight for Right, Civil Rights Defenders and The Media Initiative for Human Rights.

The broadcast can be seen on SVT 1, TV4 Play, Viaplay, Discovery, Swedish Radio P4 and on Aftonbladet and Expressen.
