[Explanation] The fifth wave of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Hong Kong is fierce. As the community isolation facilities built by the central government have been completed and put into use one after another, the pressure on Hong Kong's public hospitals to fight the epidemic has been alleviated, and the problem of "difficulty in seeing a doctor" for confirmed patients has been alleviated.

Recently, a "Hong Kong drift" female patient shared her experience of staying in a makeshift hospital on social platforms.

I took a self-test on about (March) 8th and found that I (nucleic acid test result) was positive, and then I reported it on the 9th. Later, I found that I was a little uncomfortable, with a little chest pain and breathing. It didn't feel smooth, so I thought I might still go to the isolation hospital, because I was on the side of (Hong Kong) alone, and someone from the back (the government) confirmed the information. After confirming the information, someone drove an anti-epidemic minibus. When I went downstairs, the anti-epidemic minibus came and took me from the downstairs of my house to Xintian isolation (facility).

[Explanation] Xintian Fangcai Hospital is the second community isolation facility assisted by the central government. There are a total of 720 isolation rooms and more than 2,800 isolation beds can be arranged. Ms. He happened to check in on the first day when the facility was put into use. .

For the room, there are three beds in it, one of which is a double bunk (bunk bunk), which can also accommodate people on the top, and the one with two beds, with four cabinets, designed to accommodate up to four people, and there are also matching rooms. Stools, kettles, sockets, and facilities are basically allocated on a per-person basis. Drinking water is also provided in the (facilities), and the beds have mattresses, quilts and pillows.

[Commentary] She said that after checking in, from the earliest newspapers to the patients who were admitted to the hospital, to the gradual registration of whether there are dietary restrictions, personal physical conditions, etc., she felt that the management level of the Fangcang shelter hospital was constantly improving.

In the beginning, no one really looked at our physical condition. It was just that some people distributed meals and newspapers, and the registration began the next morning. Is there anything we should not eat when we register?

Are there any taboos?

Or is there any discomfort?

No one came over until the next morning. Since then, people have come every morning to see what this person is doing, and then there will be people patrolling the house, that is, he has an emergency call.

There is also whatsapp, you can whatsapp to tell them what you are lacking, instant noodles, water, or biscuits, and he will send them over.

[Explanation] As her condition gradually improved, Ms. He was able to leave the community isolation facility after two consecutive days of negative nucleic acid results.

Looking back on this experience, she said that she met some new friends in the Fangcang shelter hospital and felt the warmth of Hong Kong citizens taking care of each other. At the same time, she also hoped that the epidemic situation would improve as soon as possible, and she would pay more attention to protection than before.

Then I went to the (Community Isolation Facility), and it turned out that everyone was fine. Like many of our neighbors, they would say, "Seeing how bad your cough is, do you need to take some cough medicine?"

The aunt next door said (to me) that you can't wear so little, it will be cold, and that you can only wear less when you're sick. Now you need to wear more, everyone is kind of watching and helping each other, I think it's better than staying at home. It's warmer, because everyone is very concerned about each other's health over there, and they will also say that we can go out for tea together in the future.

From my whole experience, the disease itself is really very painful, because I have a relatively large reaction (the disease), and I also went to the ambulance. I feel it is very hard, so I will definitely take precautions. I am more than before. will be more careful.
