The circuit of the first phase of the Central Aid Hong Kong Emergency Hospital Project was fully connected on March 29, which marked that the first phase of the project officially entered the stage of joint commissioning and testing.

The first phase of the emergency hospital project is located in the Lok Ma Chau Loop in Hong Kong. Construction officially started on March 6 and is expected to be officially completed on April 5.

It is reported that due to the fifth wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong, at the request of the Hong Kong SAR government, the central government decided to assist the construction of emergency hospitals and makeshift hospitals in the Lok Ma Chau Loop in Hong Kong.

Among them, the emergency hospital includes a 1,000-bed negative pressure ward, which will be completed in two phases, each with 500 beds per month, including 3 operating rooms and 100 ICU beds.

After the project is completed, it will effectively improve Hong Kong's ability to treat patients with new coronary pneumonia.
