According to ticket seller Stubhub, sales for Chris Rock's performances are 25 times higher than before the Oscars.
- At this stage of his tour, we had, on an average day, expected a peak in sales one or two days before the show itself, but it is extremely unusual to see such an increase.
Day sales are 25 times higher than the average we saw earlier in the month, Mike Stvehub, a spokesman for Stubhub, told the Hollywood Reporter.
Since Chris Rock was ear-filmed by Will Smith on stage during the Oscars, Smith has posted an apology on Instagram.
Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who commented on the incident on Instagram: "This is a time for healing".
The Oscars Academy has "distanced itself" and said that the incident should be investigated.
Chris Rock has not yet commented on the battle.
