Regarding the large-scale inoculation of the new corona vaccine in Tokyo by the Self-Defense Forces, the Ministry of Defense has decided to limit the inoculation quota for 5040 people per day to 5040 people per day, except Friday and Saturday, due to the ongoing availability of reservations. It will be reduced to 3000 people.

In order to accelerate the third inoculation of the new corona vaccine, a large-scale inoculation by the Self-Defense Forces is being carried out at the joint government building in Otemachi, Tokyo, and from the 10th of last month, an inoculation quota for 5040 people per day has been set up.

According to the Ministry of Defense, reservations were filled until the 27th of last month, but since the situation continues to be vacant after that, the Ministry of Defense will have a relatively large number of reservations on Friday and Saturday after the 4th of next month. Except, the daily vaccination limit will be reduced to 3000 people.

However, since there is a possibility that the number of applicants will increase during the Golden Week holidays from the end of next month, we plan to set up the same inoculation quota for 5040 people per day from 28th to May 8th next month.

The Ministry of Defense states, "This is to operate with efficient staffing according to the reservation situation, and if the number of reservations increases rapidly, we will promptly take the necessary measures."
