Gathered in Accra for a new extraordinary summit devoted to the three countries where the military has taken power in recent months, West African leaders have decided to maintain sanctions against Mali.

Guinea will have to present an "

acceptable

" timetable for the transition within a month, or face sanctions.

Sanctions also if the former Burkinabè president Roch Marc Christian Kaboré is not released by Thursday from his house arrest.
