Full Monty
will return in series form.
The British comedy, which was a worldwide success when it was released in 1997, will be adapted and distributed on Disney+, notably with the cast of the main actors from the original film.
The series will make eight episodes in total.
Filming has already started in Sheffield and Manchester (United Kingdom), announced the Disney group in a press release.
The feature film, inseparable from the song "Hot Stuff", featured a group of unemployed people who decided to turn into strippers in order to earn a living.

New challenges for the Monty Men
The series will chronicle the lives of the characters 25 years later, their struggle to "survive Sheffield in the face of a flagging economy in all sectors".
The plot will tell how British heroes "will find solutions as absurd as they are inventive to triumph over adversity", announces the streaming platform.
The main actors of the original film will return to service: Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, Lesley Sharp, Hugo Speer or even Tom Wilkinson.
They will be surrounded by new characters, including their children and grandchildren
"We are thrilled to bring the Monty Men back together," said Simon Beaufoy, creator of the miniseries and screenwriter of the 1997 film. pets and more or less harmful members of their environment.
