In a long Instagram post, the rapper returned to his approach and the long history of this project which is particularly close to his heart.

"It's a story that I started writing in 2013 because I had always dreamed of writing my own film, and I thought, 'What the hell, I'm going for it.

It's been a long road, and it was supposed to be a series for years before it became a movie.

So it really means a lot to finally be able to bring it to the screen…I can't wait for you guys to get to meet
