The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be honored by the Walk of Fame next week.

Their star, the 2,717th to join the sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard, will be close to those of TV producer Harry Friedman and presenters Pat Sajak and Jack Paar.

George Clinton, the producer behind their 1985 album

, will have the honor of lifting the veil on that star alongside Woody Harrelson and musician Bob Forrest at a ceremony on Thursday 31 March.
