Reese Witherspoon and her company Hello Sunshine will produce an adaptation of
Run, Rose, Run
, the novel co-written by Dolly Parton and bestselling author James Patterson.
The latter will also finance the production, and the singer will also get a role in the film.
Released only a few weeks ago in the United States, the novel is already at the top of the
New York Times
bestseller list .
At the same time, Dolly Parton released an eponymous album to accompany the work.
