On the evening of March 23, to celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of one million serfs in Tibet, a special performance of the drama "North Courtyard of Barkhor Street" was staged grandly at the Lhasa Tibetan Opera Performance Center.
The drama "Barkhor Street North Courtyard" was created in 2017 and premiered in 2018. It is the first realistic drama by the Tibet Autonomous Region Repertory Theatre reflecting contemporary Lhasa life.
