This Saturday evening, France 2 will broadcast the Sidaction event.

A musical bonus that will bring together the stars of French song to collect donations in order to advance research against AIDS.

To achieve this, they will take up Celine Dion's repertoire.

And for the first time, the singer Vicent Niclo will be at the presentation.

Despite the news, the 29th edition of Sidaction will take place.

An event chaired by Line Renaud and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

To present this show in which stars will sing 40 years of songs by Celine Dion, a new kid: singer Vincent Niclo.

"The objective of this 29th edition of Sidaction is obviously to appeal for donations, to bring back money because it is the sinews of war, as we know", explains the singer.

"It takes money for researchers to find a vaccine. And the very good news that we are going to announce is that they are testing a vaccine in Paris. Apparently, it there is progress that has been made and therefore, we will remind you all evening that dialing 110 is the most important thing because you can make a donation", he adds.

If the news remains marked by the war in Ukraine and the Covid-19 pandemic, Vincent Niclo underlines it, "the war against AIDS is still not won. We must continue the fight".

The greatest voices of French song together

This great show was recorded at the Dôme de Paris and brings together several voices of French song such as Nolwenn Leroy, Hélène Ségara, Bilal Hassani, Michaël Gregorio, Natasha St Pierre or even Victoria Sio, the voice of Céline Dion in the film Aline.

A great event for Vincent Niclo, who presented the Sidaction bonus for the first time.

"It was very impressive because, for 3 years, I have had the chance to be master of ceremonies for 300 choirs for the holidays on France 3. But here, it was completely different because, it was in front of 4,000 people at the Dôme de Paris," he recalls.

"I also did it for Line Renaud"

The newcomer to Sidaction emphasizes the impressive arrangements put in place for the event.

"There was a gigantic stage, giant screens, very beautiful paintings, it was a very beautiful show."

Although stressed, Vicnent Niclo managed to present his first Sidaction.

"We all do this for the cause so I forgot my stress and then I also did it for Line Renaud. Line, she's been fighting for more than 35 years. That night, she couldn't not be there, so I said to myself: 'I have to try to ensure and that she is proud of me'".

Celine Dion's 40 years of song - This special bonus for Sidaction is Saturday evening at 8:45 p.m. on France 2 (well 8:45 p.m. and not 9:10 p.m.).
