On the afternoon of March 24, Hainan's first semi-submersible deep-sea intelligent aquaculture tourism platform arrived in the waters of Longqi Bay, Ledong Li Autonomous County, Hainan. After anchoring and debugging, the platform is expected to be put into production in mid-April.
The platform, named "Pusheng Ocean Ranch No. 1", has a total length of 86 meters and a width of 30 meters. It has an area equivalent to six basketball courts and is six stories high.
The combination of steel semi-submersible structure and soft net constitutes aquaculture water body of about 30,000 cubic meters. It is the first marine pasture aquaculture equipment in South China that has obtained the classification certificate of China Classification Society.
