There are still significant inequalities in access to water, particularly in developing countries.

In sub-Saharan Africa, only 54% of the inhabitants of this region use drinking water.

With disparities between countries, between cities and countryside and even between neighborhoods.

Access to water is however considered a key issue in the fight against poverty.

Faced with this observation, improving the water service also requires good management.

Beyond the public and private actors, the participation of users in decisions, in the implementation of projects appears more and more as an essential lever to make progress in the water and sanitation sector.

organizing public meetings could indeed allow a better understanding and projects closer to their realities and their needs.
