In prayer for the end of the new coronavirus, a fire was held at a temple in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture, to burn about 1,300 Teru Teru Bozu from all over Japan.

Shorenji Temple in Gojo City is known as a temple for "sunny begging" instead of "rain begging", and since 6 years ago, a teru teru bozu made at an event in a shopping district in Osaka has been dedicated.

However, because the event in the shopping district was canceled due to the corona disaster, instead, when we recruited teru teru bozu from all over the country to end the new corona and clear our hearts, about 1300 bodies were sent. ..

On the 24th, at the main hall, the monk gave a sutra in front of the teru teru bozu, who wrote his wishes such as "disappearing the plague" and "let's clear up."

After that, the Teru Teru Bozu was thrown into the flames, and the gathered people joined hands and watched the situation.

A woman in her thirties in Gojo City said, "I saw it for the first time, but the pillars of fire were amazing. I can't go anywhere in Corona, and children can't go to play, so I want them to settle down quickly."

The chief priest, Kimiki Takahata, said, "I cooked it with the thought that everyone's wishes put into the Teru Teru Bozu would reach the heavens."
