Big scare for Miley Cyrus.
The artist was traveling to Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, where she was to sing on the stage of the Asunciónico festival, when her plane was caught in a storm.
A “storm as violent as it is unexpected” which forced the device to land urgently.
Once on dry land, Miley Cyrus wanted to reassure her fans and explain what happened, supporting images.
“To my fans and all those who were worried after learning about my flight to Asunción.
Our plane was caught in a huge and unexpected storm and was struck by lightning,” she wrote on Instagram in the caption of a video of the lightning.

The former Disney star also posted a photo from outside the plane, where lightning struck him.
Miley Cyrus could not participate in the festival, having been unable to reach Paraguay in time and apologized.
The singer continues her Attention Tour in South America.
Her next stop is San Paolo, Brazil, where she is expected at Lollapalooza on Friday.
Hopefully the ride goes a little more calmly.
