The return of i’tikaf in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque
The General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, announced the return of i’tikaaf in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and said: “The tidings of the return of i’tikaf in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque will be restored, according to specific controls and criteria, and permits will be extracted through the official website of the presidency soon.”
He added that making i’tikaf in the Two Holy Mosques will take place in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, following the example of the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
The Coordination Council of government agencies working in the Grand Mosque held its meeting today, headed by Al-Sudais. All the means and ingredients so that the pilgrims can perform their worship with ease, ease and tranquility.
