Twelve animals, nine Ukrainian dogs and three cats, were repatriated to Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) on Saturday.

They were able to get to know their host family, where they will stay until their veterinary follow-up is up to date, explains

"It was important to me to do a good deed by offering shelter to these animals that come from a country at war," said a young volunteer to our colleagues.

All host families have received a kit to be able to receive the animal in good conditions.

Towards a definitive adoption

The YouCare association, at the origin of this action, will provide veterinary follow-up for more than a month to each of them.

The families had to sign a document committing them to treat the animal well.

They also had to acknowledge that they were not the owners of the animals.

After this transition phase, the twelve animals will be ready for permanent adoption.
