Lavrov said, "(Ukrainian President) Zelensky proposed to negotiate, and we agreed. Negotiations are going on, Russia and Ukraine have established some dialogues, but the United States seems to be holding Ukraine's hand, preventing Ukraine from accepting us. considered the minimum requirement, but negotiations are still ongoing. We are always open to cooperation with countries, including Western countries, but given what Western countries have done, we will not propose any cooperation initiatives.”
Lavrov also said that Russia is looking forward to signing a comprehensive security agreement with Ukraine, including Ukraine's neutrality, and ending special military operations in Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of the Russian delegation to the Russian-Ukrainian negotiation, Mezinsky, said that the two sides were close to reaching an agreement on the issue of Ukraine's neutrality.
