Dakar hosts from this Monday, March 21 the 9th World Water Forum.

This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss topics such as security in access to water, sanitation, or the importance of water in rural development.

In recent months, a documentary -

, directed by actress Aïssa Maïga - has illustrated the extent to which the difficulties of access to water weigh on village communities.

The film, shot over several months in a village in Niger, Tatiste in the Tahoua region, gives voice to its inhabitants.
