According to CCTV, a Boeing 737 of China Eastern Airlines crashed in Teng County, Wuzhou, Guangxi, and caused a wildfire.

At present, rescue teams have assembled and approached, and the casualties are unknown.

  The Civil Aviation Administration of China has just issued a notice that the plane has now been confirmed to have crashed.

There were 132 people on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.

  The plane was flight mu5735 from Kunming to Guangzhou. Multiple flight dynamic software showed that the plane took off from Kunming Changshui Airport at 13:15 and "lost contact" on the way to Guangzhou.

  The aircraft flying this flight is a Boeing 737-800 series, which belongs to China Eastern Airlines Yunnan Company. The aircraft is only 6.8 years old and delivered in June 2015. It is not an old aircraft.

The plane has a total of 162 seats, including 12 in business class and 150 in economy class.

  Boeing 737 aircraft is a twin-engine narrow-body passenger aircraft produced by Boeing Company. It obtained the FAA type certificate in 1967 and has successively produced several series of aircraft.

These include the 737-700 series, the 737-800 series, and the 737-7, 737-8, 737-9 and 737-10.

  Prior to this, due to two consecutive crashes, the 737-8 aircraft (also known as 737MAX) was grounded by many countries, including China, and is currently returning to service.

  However, the accident occurred on the 737-800 series aircraft, and the 737MAX has not yet resumed operations in China.
