On March 20, Pan Xuhong, deputy director and press spokesman of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, said at a press conference that on March 10, Wang Moumou, a confirmed case of the new crown, and his family ate at a roast duck restaurant involved in the epidemic in Dongcheng without scanning the QR code to register. Four employees of the restaurant were diagnosed with the infection.

During the process of tracing the source of the epidemic, the disease control department found that the epidemic-related roast duck restaurant did not implement the health treasure scanning code scanning registration, body temperature detection and other epidemic prevention measures. From the 10th to the 15th, 477 of the 830 people who arrived at the store did not scan the code for registration, which is a serious problem. Obstruct follow-up epidemic prevention and control measures such as flow tracing, personnel management, isolation and transfer.

Yu Mou (male, 54 years old) and his wife Yue Mou (female, 46 years old), the operators of the roast duck restaurant involved in the epidemic, failed to perform their management responsibilities and did not take the initiative to report to the temporary test worker Zhang Mou (female, 38 years old) that they were in on the 14th and 15th. The work situation in the store caused Zhang not to be included in the flow control in time, and he was still active outside. Later, Zhang was diagnosed, causing the risk of the spread of the epidemic, and 92 people in 9 units including hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and vegetable markets were controlled.

At present, the epidemic transmission chain formed by Wang Moumou and the roast duck restaurant involved in the epidemic has caused 11 infections, which has seriously damaged and affected the health, safety and normal life of the public.

Yu and Yue have been investigated by the police on suspicion of obstructing the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and will be dealt with in accordance with the law after the isolation is over.
