At the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games, which ended on the 13th, our athletes touched a lot with their brilliant fighting spirit.

Today (22nd), the first seat, Para Ice Hockey National Team player Jun-yong Lee.

Q. First Paralympic Games...

How do you feel?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: The Paralympic Games is the biggest stage for players and another goal.

I was very excited and excited, and in my case, it was my first appearance, so the long training, the moments of the match, and the closing ceremony will be remembered for a long time.]

Q. After Pyeongchang, a splendid achievement in the quarterfinals…

How is the team atmosphere?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: In fact, there has been a hardship called Corona for the past year.

So, it was cut off for a long period of time in the middle of training, and the flow was a little different, but I think we got results that fit because everyone trained with only one goal.]

Q. Organized with world powers…

How do you feel about playing?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: Really good.

In the case of the US and Canada, the speed is very fast.

And because they are players who do not lose their individual skills one by one.

Also, in the case of Canada, we faced two times, including the preliminary and the final.

Canada is the home of hockey, so it seems that each player has his own pride.

I remember being very impressed by the way he put his best effort into every match.]

Q. The age of the national team players varies…

How is your breathing?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: Actually, there is a clear generational difference.

Since we are a team with an age difference of up to 20 years old, we learn a lot by watching our seniors, because they are a lot more seniors than I am.

I have learned a lot both physically and in terms of social life.]

Q. Appointing a former coach for the first time…

How was it?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: I remember coach Min-soo from the player days I remember as a person who was very uncompromising.

I think he certainly had those kinds of things even after he became a director.

There were parts that were difficult to follow, but thanks to those things, I was able to digest the hard training and I think I was able to be reborn as a better player.]

Q. The need to expand infrastructure…

what part do you want?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: I think that most of the players will probably agree.

In Korea, there is still only one ice hockey business team for the disabled in Gangwon Province.

So it's a bit disappointing that it's a sport that develops while competing with each other, but that's not the case in Korea.

Things that stand still are bound to be eliminated someday, so I think this is the most important part to pay attention to.]

Q. It's not an easy sport...

What motivated you to keep going?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: In my case, I had a long, unpredictable life from the age of 20, but after coming across this sport, I knew the power of a goal, and I was able to learn how good hard work can be.

Of course, there were also positive energies that exercise itself gives.

So these are the things I want to carry with me for the rest of my life.]

Q. Do you have any goals or aspirations you would like to achieve in the future?

[Lee Jun-yong / Para Ice Hockey National Team: For me, it took me quite a while to develop my skills.

I think the manual for basic equipment and equipment setting is not yet systematized.

I want to organize these parts well and make it into a lecture video so that new players can quickly develop their skills.

As a player, I couldn't play with complete confidence in this tournament.

I want to hone my personal skills and play the game again with a prepared mind.]
