Too dark, the “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series had to be rewritten

The original script for the

series  had to be rewritten because it was too dark.

This was revealed by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, explaining why production was pushed back for several months while the script for Hossein Amini (

) was given to Joby Harold for revision .
