After a spring snowfall, on March 19, the Mountain Resort in Chengde City, Hebei Province and surrounding temples were covered in silver, like a light-colored ink painting.
The World Cultural Heritage Mountain Resort was built in 1703. It is one of the four famous gardens in China. It was the place where the emperors of the Qing Dynasty escaped the summer heat and dealt with government affairs.
