A spokeswoman for the
World Health Organization
has assured this Friday that the end of the Covid-19 pandemic is very far away, with a significant increase in cases in its latest weekly data.
Asked by a journalist at a press conference in
Geneva
about the timing of the end of the pandemic,
Margaret Harris
confirmed that it was "far from over".
"We are definitely in the middle of the pandemic," she added.
