As evidenced by the photo published by Météo-France, and relayed by BFMTV, this Thursday, only a small part of the country was able to enjoy sunny weather.

The satellite image posted on Twitter shows a thick cloud cover covering the majority of French regions.

On the picture, we can clearly see that the sun is shining from Vendée to the North via the Normandy coast, the rest of the country seeming to be covered in snow.

A striking sun-cloud contrast seen from the sky and immortalized by NASA's Terra satellite.

Generous sunshine over Brittany and the Channel coasts.

Further east, a dense layer of clouds obscures the sun and blocks the rise in T°C.

This Friday, the sky was clear this morning from Brittany to Belgium.

As the day progresses, other areas will enjoy sunny weather.

Clouds will gradually shift south.

The sun will shine in the afternoon from the Channel and the Pays de Loire to the northern borders.
