In March, the Dongting Lake Plain begins to enter the busy season for spring ploughing.
The people began to germinate, sow, and focus on raising seedlings, laying a solid foundation for the next early rice transplanting and throwing.
In Leyuan Village, Caowei Town, Yuanjiang City, Yiyang, a modern greenhouse covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters stands majestically, like a modern production workshop.
The south side of the workshop is full of seedling trays with green seedlings, and two automated sprayers are spraying the seedlings with medicines; on the north side, there are tall circular motion seedling equipments lined up with seedling trays. The machine circulates up and down, so that the seedlings can fully enjoy the sunshine.
At present, all parts of the Yuanjiang River are seizing the fine weather and carrying out concentrated seedling raising to ensure a bumper crop of early rice this year.
