Presidential 2022: Emmanuel Macron presents his project, sweeping away any dodging of the democratic debate

Emmanuel Macron descends cautiously into the arena.

Accused of "stepping over" the presidential election, the president-candidate entered the campaign a little more this Thursday afternoon, revealing the main lines of his project during a major press conference organized at the Docks de Paris in Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Three weeks before the first round, the head of state answered questions from journalists at length about his program, failing to agree to debate with his opponents.

War in Ukraine: For lack of allies, Russia renounces the vote on a resolution at the UN

Moscow more isolated than ever at the UN.

Russia has given up holding a vote in the United Nations Security Council on Friday on a resolution related to the war in Ukraine, for lack of support from its closest allies, diplomats told AFP on Thursday.

“They called for co-sponsorship” for their text, which they said focused on humanitarian issues, “and there was no return,” said an ambassador on condition of anonymity, suggesting that neither China nor India supported the controversial Russian initiative and would have voted in favor of it.

Presidential 2022: "Collaboration", "Pétain-Hitler" ... The Jadot-Zemmour debate degenerates

"Collaboration of Islamo-leftists" against heir of "Pétain / Hitler in Montoire": the debate between Eric Zemmour and Yannick Jadot on the Russian invasion in Ukraine quickly turned Thursday, to the rat race between the two candidates.

Yannick Jadot accused Eric Zemmour of "serving the soup" for Vladimir Poutine.

“All these are words,” swept the latter.

In return, he recalled that the environmentalist candidate had called him a "service Jew", seeing in him the "face of a racist and an ally of the Islamists", a "collaborator of the Islamo-leftists".
