It is the most consumed oil on the planet, the most profitable and the least expensive.

The other side of the coin: palm oil is also the leading cause of deforestation and land grabbing in the world.

In Benin, small farmers who no longer have access to land are worried about seeing plantations expand.

However, it is possible to produce certified sustainable palm oil.
