On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Évian agreements on March 18, 1962 between the representatives of the Government of the French Republic and the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic, Europe 1 creates "Ici Algiers, Europe n°1", a sound documentary made up of exclusive archives from its antenna.

It was March 18, 1962. After nearly eight years of conflict, the French government and the provisional government of the Algerian Republic signed the Evian Accords which would put an end to the Algerian war.

At the time, Europe 1 was a young independent radio station with journalists on site covering the events since the start of the war in 1954. 60 years later, Europe is digging into its exclusive archives to offer you an unpublished sound documentary entitled

Here Algiers, Europe n°1

.
