On March 16, the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology announced that with the help of technologies from China, the United States, Japan, Germany, France and other countries, the severely damaged stupa stele in the Qiyan Dojo of the Sui Dynasty was restored to its original appearance and better protected and displayed.

  The base of the stele is basically complete and preserved in the open air, with many surface corrosion and fissure diseases.

The body of the monument was severely damaged, with more than 100 pieces remaining.

Cultural relic workers use technologies from the United States and China to collect digitally, and use technologies from Japan, Germany and other countries to analyze composition, petrography, and microscopic morphology.

Combined with the results of material, disease, material and finite element simulation analysis, the implementation plan for the protection and restoration of the stele, which is separated from the stele body and placed on the side of the stele body, is established. Restored to its original appearance.

  The stupa stele of Qiyan Dojo in Sui Dynasty is the first batch of famous steles of national calligraphy art, and it is now collected in Yongji City Museum of Shanxi Province.
