At 15:09 on March 17, Beijing time, China successfully launched the Remote Sensing 34-02 satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center with a Long March 4C carrier rocket.
The satellite is mainly used to provide information services such as land census, urban planning, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation.
The mission is the 411th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
