On March 17, at the construction site of Putian Station of Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway, two sets of 500-meter-long steel rails were smoothly laid on the ballastless track slab, marking the start of China's first cross-sea high-speed railway, Fu (zhou) Xiamen (men) high-speed railway. The track is laid, and the project construction has fully entered the online construction stage.

Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is the first cross-sea high-speed railway in China, and it is also the railway with the highest speed rating in Fujian Province. The design speed is 350 kilometers per hour, and the main line is 277.42 kilometers long. The whole line consists of Fuzhou South, Fuqing West, Putian, Quangang, Quanzhou East, and Quanzhou South. , Xiamen North, Zhangzhou 8 passenger stations.
