An 18-year-old woman who fled from Putin's war of aggression in Ukraine is said to have been sexually abused by two other refugees in a hotel ship that is also used as refugee accommodation and is currently moored on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf's old town.

As has just become known, the two alleged perpetrators - a 26-year-old Tunisian who has Ukrainian papers and a 37-year-old man from Nigeria - have been in custody since March 8th.

The nationalities of the two have not yet been finally clarified.

According to the investigators' findings so far, in the early evening of March 6, the younger man first raped the Ukrainian woman in a room on the hotel ship "Oscar Wilde", which currently accommodates around two dozen refugees in addition to tourists.

Immediately after the crime, the shocked and agitated woman confided in the older man, who lured her into his room under the pretense of protecting her.

There it should have come to the second sexual assault.

The young Ukrainian then asked an acquaintance from Germany for help, who finally alerted the police.

According to information from the FAZ, this is the first sexual assault on a woman who fled Ukraine that has become known to the security authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
