In the past few days, the construction of the upgrading and reconstruction project of Ganjiang South Avenue in Nanchang, Jiangxi, which is located on the bank of the Ganjiang River, is in full swing.

South Ganjiang Avenue (Nanchang Bridge to Shengmi Bridge) is about 5.6 kilometers in length. It was constructed in sections and put into use in 2005.

After more than ten years of development, there are more and more scenic belts, playgrounds, units and residential quarters along the line, and the traffic flow has increased rapidly. The original road design and traffic capacity can no longer meet the new travel needs of citizens, and upgrading and renovation is imminent.

This year, the Honggutan District of Nanchang City quickly started the construction of the road upgrading and reconstruction project.

The reporter learned at the construction site that the temperature of the newly paved asphalt on the road exceeded 100 degrees Celsius. The driver of the road roller introduced that each layer of asphalt should be pressed at least 6 times.

In order to ensure quality, rush the construction period, and ensure smooth flow, the construction party dispatched 3 pavers, 3 drum rollers, 3 tire rollers, 2 oil sprinklers, and more than 20 asphalt transport vehicles and other equipment at the same time. Operation, more than 60 workers began to spread the surface asphalt at the same time.

According to the report of Nanchang Honggutan Urban Investment Group, after the completion of the project renovation, Ganjiang South Avenue will become a two-way 6-lane plus two non-motorized vehicle lanes, and the road surface will be more spacious.
