[Explanation] In 2022, China and South Korea will usher in the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
In the past three decades, China-ROK relations have developed rapidly.
Now, at a new starting point, how to push China-ROK relations to a new level?
Recently, Lu Zaixian, the son of former South Korean President Roh Tae-woo, president of the East Asian Cultural Center of South Korea, and permanent chairman of the preparatory committee for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China, accepted an exclusive interview with the "East-West Question" column of China News Agency.

Although the two countries established diplomatic relations on August 24, 1992, the exchanges between South Korea and China, both public and private, were uninterrupted before that.
About a hundred years ago, my ancestor Lu's family lived in Shandong Province, and then moved to the (Korean) Peninsula, which belongs to some of our family's history.
Because of this, my father has an affinity for China.
In addition, the geographical location is very similar. Shandong Province and South Korea face each other across the sea, and even the crowing of chickens can be heard in the morning, which shows that the geographical location is similar.
[Explanation] What areas will the future development of China-ROK relations focus on?
Lu Zaixian commented:

In the next 30 years, and the next 30 years, how should our relationship go?
In this regard, we currently need to think carefully in all aspects, analyze the current situation, and formulate future strategies.

I think culture is not unique but what flows is shared.
I think we should look at it with the eyes of the future.
In this regard, I think it is possible to create a "One Asia" culture, and we can jointly create an Asian culture, similar to "Asian Flow".
Such a composite culture is created to play a role in the world as our Asian brand, from which potential cooperation opportunities between China and Korea can also be explored.

From the perspective of Asia, starting from Pyeongchang, passing through Tokyo and finally to Beijing, a series of cross-era events contain special significance.
