Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 14th that it was confirmed that 159 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 25,072 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Yamaguchi Prefecture also announced that a total of two people, a woman in her 70s and a man in her 80s, had died.
The number of people who died after being infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture was 153.
