An Egyptian official reveals the truth about finding wheat from the time of Prophet Yusuf

An official in the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture denied what was circulated about the finding of pharaonic wheat in ancient tombs in Egypt, believed to date back to the time of the Prophet Joseph.

The director of the Field Crops Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt, Mohamed Reda, said in a statement to the local newspaper, Al-Watan: "Scientifically, it is illogical to keep wheat in its condition for decades, let alone 4,000 years."

The spokesman continued, "There are those who have exploited the story of the pharaonic wheat for years to achieve great profits at the expense of simple farmers."

The newspaper pointed out that the rumors of pharaonic wheat date back to 2018. When rumors spread about finding high-yield wheat in one of the tombs dating back to the era of Prophet Yusuf.
