In 1995, when a house in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka burned down and an 11-year-old girl died, her mother, Keiko Aoki (58), was charged with arson and murder, and was sentenced to life imprisonment. , The trial was redone in 2016 and the innocence was confirmed.



Mr. Aoki was forced to confess to her mentally cornered by being repeatedly struck by her interrogation, and she was unfairly detained for more than 20 years, and she was 140,000 in the country and Osaka prefecture. We have filed a civil trial seeking compensation of over 10,000 yen.



At the trial, the government and the prefecture insisted that "there was no illegal investigation," and a police officer who once investigated testified in front of Mr. Aoki that "I still think she is the criminal." was.



In November last year, the Osaka District Court emphasized Mr. Aoki's innocence and recommended a settlement, urging efforts to prevent repeated false accusations.



However, because the government and the prefecture did not agree to the settlement, the judgment was handed down on the 15th.
